Reuploading this drawing from back when my old computer died and I did a bit of traditional while I was waiting to replace it. I still like it a lot! The ALDI knock-off markers I was using made it a sort of limited palette challenge. #OnePiece

Converting your own images to greyscale is also a good way to develop an eye for value. It will show you where your lights & shadows are blending together without colour to distract you. Just make sure to use a "color" black/white layer mode vs. "saturation" etc for the most accurate conversion.
