I bumped into 13 Woodcock across three E Norfolk sites yesterday morning. Several gave outstanding views, including two that landed within 5m, prolonged flight views and this one, sat still, hiding and hoping... #UKBirding

A few more of the delightful 1w male Desert Wheatear at Cley this afternoon. Initially along the Eye Field fence, it popped up on the shingle, then on the Beach Hotel as we were leaving. The 9th TG04 record, the 1st was obtained in October 1907. @linnetincley.bsky.social #cleybirds #norfolkbirding

Exciting times at Clifford hill GP when I discovered the first American passerine for Northants, American Buff-bellied Pipit, as something about this pipit looked strange. Probably my best bird find ever. Many happy birders today. Jack snipe was in the same area. #northantsbirds #ukbirding #PWC2026
