When I was a kid and couldn’t sleep, I’d turn on the television, and there were only about four channels. And when it would get to be 1 AM, the national anthem would play and then the TV would just go static. There was nothing on after that time. Until 6 AM in the morning. No, really, I’m serious.

A reminder that when you make a new armed force like this, it doesn’t ever get shut down, job done. It continues to be given new reasons to exist, with new enemies invented to justify its existence due to ever increasing vested interests.
