Hell, they're taught about WW 2 and look where we are. I think the teaching needs to be grittier but weak parents don't want their kids having feelings. I grew up crying myself to sleep over books about racism, they made me strong enough to help others.

I prefer to say they're not well informed. Republicans have starved the public education systems for decades...decades... Since the 1970s! How many generations of US people? They've damaged their lives and the lives of their children and grandchildren. They've stolen their hopes and dreams.
