Big bonus is that it's old enough to have the ceramic capacitors, so no worries about leakage!
Show PostNew camera Tuesday! This is a special one for me. My wonderful wife @tuftluck.bsky.social got me this Minolta X-700 for our anniversary! It came with an MD 50mm and a Tokina 70-210mm. This was the first type of camera I ever shot film on, courtesy of my late father.
Show PostGot this sick lens setup for the X-700 from an awesome local camera shop! It's a Vivitar 75-205mm zoom lens w/ a matched 2x multiplier, making it a 150-410mm! Got the pair for $40, still in boxes (and the boxes have price stickers of $300 and $75 originally! Stoked to refoam the X-700 and get at it!
