I’m glad people like the format, I’m fine with it being popular, but it really does feel like I’m playing the memory of fun rather than actually having a fun time. People played all these cool cards for these whacky decks but the format just slops everything into the same kingmaking combo pattern.

The most under-discussed aspect of Star Wars' success is the sound design, imo. Making a TIE fighter scream through the void, making a lightsaber hum. We really take for granted that those sounds don't exist, but we immediately grok them as 'natural' for what makes the sound.
