1/ Okay here’s what I found out if anyone is still following: office of US digital services is housed in the Executive office of the President (EOP) which is why trump chose it to restructure it into doge. Any agency in EOP is directly under the president and at their discretion. So no confirmations

I’m still confused. The head of any federal agency requires congressional approval. Presidential nomination and congressional confirmation. Even if you bypass creating the agency the way he did the people who run it still have to be approved by Congress.
