🧵 I had a teacher who wrote to my parents - ‘Robert does not study, he lacks imagination, he underestimates the standard & overestimates his own abilities’. My mother lamented the standard of teachers hired, my father wanted to ‘meet’ this ‘clown’. I advised doing nothing. So they did. [1]
