Oh man, this is perfect. Yeah, I get the OP’s point, that criticism of Tesla’s “flying car” as uncool is somewhere in the department of ad hominem or the horn effect, but, imo, even objectively cool things are way less cool when uncool people do them.

The question "Is this condition overdiagnosed" is actually asking "Have we found an exceptional case of a medical issue where healthcare is too easy to get?" and the answer to that is always no. There has never, at any point, been a situation where it was too easy to get healthcare.
