+3 °C. The first night with frost… surprisingly, my dahlias and nasturtiums survived! I picked the last rose for a vase, it’s so beautiful. For breakfast: sourdough rye bread with ice lettuce, fig, persimmon and cold smoked salmon, avocado and plums, grapes, watermelon, coffee.🍜

I use a stove top pressure cooker, but not for preserving. I don’t know how they work. I take my jams/marmalades to 105C and bottle in sterilised jars. They last 2 years+. I use the water bathing method for pickles and bottled tomatoes.
