There are only 3 ways left to make a living as a writer: 1. Find a (disappearing) job in corporate media. Wait for AI takeover. 2. Build a fanbase working for free and eventually sell directly to your audience (substack, patreon, etc) 3. Trust fund/marry money (these are also the people at #1)
