oh yeah btw also these are *not* character specific, the WoW friends are basically "battletags specific to WoW". It will still expose all of your alts you log on to. The first line is the alt I was on that accepted the request. The 2nd line is the alt I logged onto

it's 2 way but the old legacy 1 way friend system is being effectively retired. it'll be placed in a section similar to the Recent Allies tab is so that you have a list to convert over to 2 way. The recipient still has to accept the friend request

Grabbed an excerpt of some of the crazier unreferenced sci-fi-sounding noises and zipped them up. I'm sure some could be used for overlaying/augmenting certain kind of sounds but these are very out of place for a troll raid patch. :D marlam.in/u/loudnoises...

There is some insane sound design work shipping in 12.1 files. A lot of it seems to be for test spells of massive stone/wood impacts but there's also some more out of this world stuff like "scifi rattles". They're in the files separately but also used as part of actual sound effects, which is neat.
