The @minnmax.com spotlight about @17-bit.bsky.social, the developer of Awaysis, is incredible. It highlighted the humanity behind game development, with a cool focus on concept art, and showed the process of how creativity in one medium leads to your favorite locales in your favorite games.

The yearly pax is coming up... but just not the same. I will always think of peak Seattle indie days as PAX post setup party thursday night back at the @17-bit.bsky.social studios... and friday morning everyone regretting it deeply... only to repeat it all again on closing night 10X more...

My two seconds in this thing is just @jkooza.bsky.social peer-pressuring me at BitSummit earlier this year into keeping our social activities alive (fear not, they are alive and well). Cool video about our homebros at @17-bit.bsky.social from the lovely folks at @minnmax.com ↓

Get an unprecedented look at the development of Awaysis, the next game from @17-bit.bsky.social (Galak-Z, Skulls of the Shogun) in Kyoto with the new MinnMax Spotlight. Imagine The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords, but with a bold take on physics and chaos. youtu.be/4c4d85dFsoU
