I'm excited to share that I recently started a postdoc at NYU with Joy Bergelson! I will still be working on microbes, but will be trading poop for plants. Although I'll miss the CA eco/evo communities, I'm looking forward to connecting with folks in the NY area :)

Thrilled to see this project officially published in ISMEJ! We showed that filamentous prophages frequently acquired repressor mutations causing hyperactivity which, in turn, drove the evolution of phage resistance with pleiotropic consequences. academic.oup.com/ismej/advanc...
