Whenever I press the submit button for a grant, I just send up a little message to the universe, "Please, please help me to help more women writers. Please see how important our work is to protect, defend, and uplift their stories, their writing."

Just registered for my spring semester (for MFA year 1)! I may end up backing out of a class if it's too much, but tentatively I'll be doing both poetry and creative nonfiction workshops and a literary criticism class (in addition to work as a TA and art editor at the lit journal). I'm hyped!!!!!
