A little publishing win! 🥹💜 A literary agent read my picture book, shared lovely feedback, and requested TWO more manuscripts! I officially submitted them! 😭 No guarantees, but this is one step closer to my dream of becoming a traditionally published children's author. 💜📚

I went to a workshop Tuesday night all about querying, and I learned that I write "slice-of-life" picture books and middle-grade graphic novels. I was so pleased to have a name for it.

Students made their first minicomics in my intro making course - mostly standard format but this student, a first time maker(!), did something so off the charts I’m still reeling from it! & he made like 12 of them for his classmates! A paper engineering feat of flipbookery as well as killer drawing!
