anti gerrymandering and voting rights legislation could be helpful too. so could other enfranchisement efforts (like lowering the voting age.) Ds won't even talk about some of this stuff though, which is not great.
Show Postbut we do know that just passing solid policy and getting the economy to a good place is not necessarily sufficient. so other approaches (like, enfranchising DC) need to be a priority.
Show Postone thing at a time, obviously. but also keeping the fascist party out of power for some time is very important and there is not necessarily a clear path to doing that given current dynamics.
