Consolidating the sounds we’ve covered! 🔤 The children are applying what they’ve learned by saying, making, breaking, blending, covering and writing words using their sounds. 🌟 We are working towards making this learning more automatic as the children apply their phonics skills independently. 👏

🔤 Our first phonics lesson! We have been learning about the letter S and the sound it makes. We know that S makes the sound /s/. We practised saying the sound, spotting the letter S, writing the sound and listening for /s/ at the beginning of words. We are becoming phonics superstars! ⭐️
