No, I'm not a lawyer, but I can read a case myself. "The unauthorized practice of law is committed by holding oneself out as being, or communicating in some fashion that one is, entitled to practice law when one is not." People v. Sun, No. B222420, 2011 WL 1734294, at *5 (Cal. Ct. App. May 6, 2011)
