15 June 1885 | A German Jew, Max Reinhaus, was born in Stadtlohn. In 1938 he fled to The Netherlands. He was deported to #Auschwitz from #Westerbork in February 1944. He was murdered in a gas chamber after the selection with his wife Clara.
