Within 3 years of graduation, favor shifted to Sketch...then InVision, then Figma. Even if things had stayed Adobe-centric, XD didn't even exist when I was in undergrad (great, now I sound extra old 🙃). Tools come and go – but the fundamentals carry you through it. Equally true in design and dev.
Show PostWhen I was getting my graphic design BFA, my professors were adamant about "not teaching the programs" (Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop, at that point), and instead focusing on design principles. I remember my classmates being mad about that, but time has ultimately proven the profs right
