So many people I know couldn't distinguish between being made to feel uncomfortable, which is what protest is designed to do, and being made to feel threatened, which perhaps happened on some college campuses here and there but was in no way close to the malignant growth of Nazism on the Right.
Show PostI remain quite angry at the people, many of them fellow Jews, who spent so much energy worrying about leftwing campus antisemitism when it was so clearly used as a distraction from the growing acceptance of mask-off Nazism within the Republican party. So many people allowed themselves to get played.
Show PostWhen a random college student who says something antisemitic has as much power as the Vice President of the United States of America, I'll believe that antisemitism on college campuses and within the Republican Party are both a problem. Until then, no.
Show PostI honest to Pete don’t understand the aversion to saying he lies. (Don’t give me the whole oh-we-don’t-know-his-intent malarkey)
Show PostAnyway. This might be you. Or your mom. Or your kid. Or your grandpa. Because mobility comes and goes, because our bodies are adventures that keep moving forward. Imagine a world that is beyond your experience, just once in a while. It's pretty great out here. When you aren't carding cripples.
