I've not encountered the Dr/not-Dr gender issue much myself, but at a previous employer academics were frequently identified as Dr/Prof Lastname in meeting minutes etc, while admin staff were listed as FirstnameLastname. Titles for everyone or no one, folks.

I’m so excited that the clocks change in the UK this weekend. That extra hour of daylight in the morning will really help me harvest crops and support the country during the First World War. Definitely worth the payoff of it being dark by mid-afternoon over 100 years later…
