On the one hand it's been over 20 years since the movies but we live in a time where access to the past is so much easier. I've got a set of the books and the movies in 4k. I don't think the new series will add much that I want to see.

I feel like there are enough normie people out there who don’t pay attention to politics who will gladly watch, but I also think it’s a massive miscalculation to think millennial nostalgia is enough to justify the $100 mil/episode. The strategy must be trans people matter/Harry Potter is cringe.
