Every time I get peer review, I’m amazed by how thoughtful & constructive most reviewers are (whoever you are — thank you). They often point out things I hadn’t considered and make me a better researcher. Peer review as a system may be in trouble, but I’ve been a major beneficiary of the process.

I’d love to read this preprint. In my work as a neurodevelopmental paediatrician I take detailed histories from parents and so encounter the undiagnosed adult DLD population.

Appreciate the clarity here. Preprints are valuable for making work available early, and being explicit that the paper is still under peer review helps readers understand that the findings may still evolve.
