Researchers investigated how the natSpTrf proteins may function in the sea urchin immune system in vivo. They found that upon detection of a pathogen the SpTrf gene family is upregulated and the natSpTrf proteins are produced. Read more in The JI: https://ow.ly/9KR250ZUU9M
