I've been reading some remarkable graphic novels recently and Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson, illustrated by Emily Carroll is right up there. Do note that if you're unfamiliar with the story, it details sexual assault and the repercussions of this upon the young victim. It is also brilliant, vital.

I have to finish safety videos for school before 11/30. The one on anaphylaxis says a symptom can be a "sense of impending doom." So I guess I've been in anaphylaxis since late 2016...

WRITING ADVICE: If you’re having a hard time getting started on a project, simply start a second project, get it to a critical point, then use the original project to procrastinate work on the second now more stressful project. Repeat as needed until the universe disintegrates
