It’s honestly insane that this technology is being allowed to be developed by the private sector without government oversight. Hard to see that changing at this point though unless national security is invoked, which creates another set of issues and concerns.

If Meta suspended the account at the request of or under pressure from the admin, that would be “jawboning” — and a 1A violation. This was exactly what the MAGA states argued wrt the Hunter Biden story and COVID minsinfo. The purpose of the investigation would be to find out if that happened
