it really does feel like they just got away with unprecedented amount of theft of expertise, and are now profiting off of it while replacing the professional opportunities for the very crafts and humans it trained on I never thought I would see the concept of expertise get so devalued

Even now, 10 years later I look back on my old work, the people I worked with, the fans I interacted with, all the result of hard work and making something with your own hands.
