So my question isn't what happens to middle class kids whose parents can afford to buy them better. My question is what happens when those of us who have a microphone & resources don't make a specific point of sharing the microphone with the parents of vulnerable poor children who can't buy better.

Part of the problem is judges, rightly or wrongly, tend only to sanction for repeated behaviors. DOJ is so big and in every district so their errors are spread out. The errors also vary, which, same problem. It is very frustrating to see them keep getting away with shady shit

The only nugget of wisdom I can share from my current field is “don’t ever switch your data and enterprise management systems from on-prem to the cloud and demand seamless transition with no loss of productivity if you’re not willing to spend the time and energy training people in advance.”
