Study relevant to policy makers & resource providers who *conveniently* disregard categories, eg., autism,ADHD & put them all under one umbrella term 'neurodivergent ', thereby flattening needs & missing nuance. Need-based assessments will miss these nuances, allowing neuronormativity to prevail.

I'm really glad this research exists, they drew a devastatingly wrong conclusion here though: "alternative recommendations regarding individualised approaches to support." No, this level of proof is about fundamentally altering society so we can function in it. Full stop, cut the bullshit.

Yes. Teachers are carrying a lot. Smaller classes & more time would be nice. The #NHS are funding free #neurodiversity training for schs, provided by (fab) @annafreudcharity.bsky.social. Let’s hope leaders, MATs, Ofsted etc value this 🤞
