I really wish non-frontline-staff running meetings / trainings that will include frontline staff... didn't do them over lunches. Signed Person trying to figure out the roster for tomorrow AND make sure everyone gets a lunch break. (Because most of us have an hour for lunch.)

Y'all... Freshmen have been struggling SO much with alpha order & finding books. Not like the 2nd or 3rd letter...like finding D. I put these big lettwr tab signs in, and today STANDING next to the M tab (M...my largest section of letters) said to me, "But there are no Ms!!!"

Opened the library today. Hard frost on my car windshield. My car knew the route. Quiet start, then the picklist, book drop returns, storytime, shelving, patron chatting. Came home and read, made dinner husband time and audiobook. Cat's asleep. All of that is why I read. It's a nice cycle.
