After writing two other pairings this week (Zangeal and my secret Santa pairing), I've come to realize the Zakkura will always be my one and only 💖 other ships are lovely and amazing and it's been so fun learning how to write different dynamics. But coming back to Zakkura is like coming back home.

None of which I would especially mind if the tech worked well (it doesn’t), was trained ethically (usually isn’t) and wasn’t environmentally ruinous. It’s bizarre that there even needs to be a discussion. It’s like debating whether or not to introduce nuclear powered calculators in a math class.

it's legitimately my number one issue because i think everything else flows from it. even climate change, probably my other biggest issue, arguably flows from such a deep fundamental lack of awareness of the world
