cheats are especially nice for super grindy games where you set the exp rate to 4x and it suddenly feels balanced 🫠 also I feel like any layer of add-on to the cartridges is a risk to save files. I lost my Lufia save because my cousin wanted to play with the SuperFX adapter

I like making little improvements to clone consoles. Like the av jacks usually have screw holes that can be used to secure them better but no holes through the shell to fasten them to. I'll drill those holes and add the screws if I'm in there.

I wanted an unnecessarily tall tower of power so I could use many cartridges lol but it started glitching on me. Good news is I learned my one little everdrive can do what I wanted with the tallest tower pictured but in just one cartridge instead. Oh and I kept the NES Game Genie so I can cheat 😅

I feel the same way. I think at my age I'll have to play it with save states or I'm going to have a heart attack...or put on a different game 😅
