One of the things I appreciate most about TDS is their ability to find humor in difficult contexts. But, there was zero context to the bit about Acton’s estranged mother. They really dropped the ball on that one. I wonder if they just whiffed (it happens), or if Skydance is already seeping in?

I'm not surprised that the show which fell for the O'Keefe smear of ACORN (& didn't say boo when the deceptive editing was discovered) is now amplifying Ramaswamy's smear against Amy Acton without mentioning why her mother hasn't seen her since 1978. (Her mom fled with her rapist, FYI.)

I don't think it's funny to amplify that attack ad against Acton without telling the background story that Amy's step dad was indicted by a grand jury for sexually assaulting Amy, Amy and her brother were moved from the home, and the mom skipped town with the step-dad before trial.
