And I feel this one turned out really well and that’s because I used fresh disposable pens the whole time. Not as good as dip pen and way more expensive but it still looks better than the faded image above

The issue I’m finding with disposable pens is that the line starts to thin and grey pretty quickly and I don’t always notice. So a drawing done with dip pen has consistently black and striking lines while something like this drawing is marred by a weak tone. But dip pens are messy. It’s a conundrum
