I once heard a libertarian writer ranting about libraries stealing his work at a SF con in the early 2000s, but libertarians. My brain lost large amounts of his exact argument out of self preservation.

We'd barely invented web pages back then, much less social media. We couldn't really expect even professionals to understand the nuances of licensing back then? <being generous> I have too many librarians in my life. I know too much. I must be eliminated.
