Important analysis from Vali Nasr on the thinking in Tehran. Getting what Trump wants means Iran giving up key elements of its leverage. As I’ve been saying, Trump’s war may actually have ruined the chances for a good nuclear deal for some time to come. I hope I’m wrong.
