Ok so then why were corporate profits flat to down over the next 30 years if corporations were getting more greedy, including all of the Reagan, Bush, and Clinton administrations, and nothing shows up in the aggregates until it magically appeared over the course of 4 years in the early 2000s?

Well not to put too fine a point on it but “we should make corporations less greedy” isn’t a policy plan unless you have a genie lamp in your pocket, whereas “we should determine the proximate changes of tax and regulatory policies that disadvantaged labor and change them” is.
