It is my sincere belief that if an edition of a novel has an introduction by eg another writer, the introduction should go at the END so that I can read their thoughts when I'm finished rather than be spoilered at the beginning.

In Paris, the uprising continues. On October 18, masses of people once again took to the streets. Crowds gathered at Place de la République and in the surrounding streets, erecting barricades as police deployed large amounts of tear gas. 🧵
