Pete Hegseth forced the US Army Chief of Staff Gen. Randy George to step down and take immediate retirement, he will be replaced with Hegseth's long term military aide who will be less likely to question illegal orders. This comes only a few weeks into the war with Iran.

It's just struck me that in a situation where the US government and the Iran government have made contradictory statements, as they have today, I'm now inclined to think the Iranians are telling the truth than the Americans. This is Not Good.
