When you can make something just by asking or pressing a button, I don’t feel anything about the result, and it all feels kind of pointless. Sure, it’s way more efficient, and it’s what a lot of workplaces expect now, but it makes me feel like I’m not actually getting better at anything.
Show PostI get that feeling, even though I’m not an artist. Sometimes I wonder if people just want AI to do everything. Idk if others feel the same, but for me, the struggle of making/understanding something and the joy of seeing the effort pay off was part of the fun and the motivation.
