Sometimes people change because they don't feel comfortable in their current situation. If you don't love them after they change, your love is conditional and isn't real, authentic love. Sexuality isn't like an addiction or a crime, it's personal preference and an exercise of that person's agency.

if you are so attached to ralsei and his kindness, you shouldn't be bothered if he ends up being trans or gay or whatever. that won't make him less kind and gentle. people don't become less special if their sexuality or gender changes. this applies to real people too.
