And here is the print. I have copper tube on order along with aluminum for the reflector so will build it tomorrow. L-Band satcom is the most simple way to get started with ACARS from Inmarsat no question. The helix has enough gain to decode voice if you are into that mode (I am not).

Dear all, we have an awesomely maintained list (sdr-e.com/plane-alert-db) of interesting planes that we follow. It’s really good for anything US or Europe related, but it’s lacking coverage for Central and South America. Pls let me know if you know any good sources? #planefence #planealert
