I LOVE beta readers! Both the rah rah ones and the harsh ones. (I've written a lot of fiction with intent to publish. Only a couple of sales but... in all cases a beta reader likely helped get it there and an editor pushed it to its best form before readers saw it.

Reflecting on my writing this year after getting Guardian’s Gate ready for beta: Breaker’s Ruin 125k, Mercy’s Gate 95k, Guardian’s Gate 108k, a 4k short and an 8k start to a fantasy book. That’s 340k words plus draft/editing of those plus Emperor’s Fall. 1/2 #amwriting #indieauthors
