Opposing all physical violence is idealistic but I can respect it, i can understand it. But nonviolence only rejects "unofficial" violence, from people who are purported to be on the same side as the ideologue. It is cowardice and total conservatism masquerading as ethos and strategy

You never see nonviolence ideologues complaining about the violence of state actors in "good causes", they never criticize The Union Army or the US in WW2 (that would be actual pacifism, a morally consistent principle). Its only non-state actors who have to be condemned.
