How was Neil Finn rude?

I know I've told this story many times but it's still worth telling. In college, a boy who was kind of interested in me but who was also scared of me came into my dorm room and looked at my CD rack (it was the late '90s/'early '00s, babes). He said dismissively "You have the Crowded House CD."

My entire family loves him. We all love him in our own specific ways. But I think that's the joy of his songwriting -- it's personal for all of us. I will never shut up about Neil Finn.

I didn't look up from my computer (I don't know what I was doing but something that was more important) and said "I have all the Crowded House CDs." You don't come into my house and disrespect Neil Finn, ever.
