You just have to write situations to press characters to have realizations and make Choices/Changes

Nobody else I know likes Mel/Langdon because they hate Langdon. I get it. But he is the best version of himself around Mel. He’s kind of a huge twat to everyone else, but he is pudding for his nerdy autistic colleague, and I don’t know how folks DON’T ship that.
