it helped teach me that the idea of "changing your approach to a game in order to overcome a new type of challenge" is something that some people just refuse to do ever to be perfectly frank I could never design a game for that kind of person lol
Show PostI think of this mindset these days when people start describing repeatedly trying a tough challenge in a game as "bashing their head against it" because that sort of phrasing just makes me think they're not observing, thinking, learning, and adjusting and a lot of games expect you to do that
