Well put. She stood out in what was, quite frankly, a man’s world (improv especially), and influenced so many women that came after her. I just hope she knew how important she was.

Losing Catherine O’Hara is a huge blow to people who love comedy, and therefore the world at large. Humor heals (or at least takes the sting off of) our traumas. One of the biggest compliments that I can give another person is “you’re really funny”, and she was hilarious #RIP
